Payments 

At Ecuador Local Guide, we want to make your experience simple and secure from the very beginning. Whether you’re booking a tour, a cultural experience, or a personalized service, we offer reliable and accessible payment methods.

We proudly use WeTravel, a secure and user-friendly online payment platform, to process bookings. Through WeTravel, you can pay easily using credit card, debit card, or bank transfer, with the convenience of managing your reservation all in one place.

Booking & Payment

A deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required to secure a booking.

Full payment must be made 45 days before the tour departure date.

Payments can be made via WeTravel, which supports wire transfers and credit card payments. Please note that credit card transactions may incur additional fees, determined and collected by the payment processors or banks. These fees are not included in our tour prices and are the responsibility of the traveler.

All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made 45 days before the tour start date are eligible for a 100% refund. Certain properties, such as Galápagos cruises, Amazon lodges, and exclusive hotels, may have different booking and cancellation policies. Ecuador Local Guide is committed to negotiating with our suppliers to provide the most flexible options possible for our travelers.

Cancellations within 30 days of the tour are non-refundable.

No-shows will not receive a refund.

If we cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative tour option will be provided.
