Day 2: Quito – Bellavista Cloud Forest
Depart for Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve, known for its incredible bird diversity.
Birdwatching along the trails; look for species like the Andean Cock-of-the-rock, hummingbirds, and tanagers. Continue birding and enjoy the lush surroundings.
Stay at the Bellavista Lodge.
Day 3: Bellavista – Mindo
More birdwatching in Bellavista before heading to Mindo.
Arrive in Mindo, where you can explore the cloud forest, searching for elusive species such as the Mindo Wren and the Plushcap.
Night walk to spot nocturnal species. Stay at a local lodge in Mindo.
Day 4: Mindo Birdwatching
Enjoy a full day of birding in Mindo, visiting various hotspots like the Nambillo River and the Mindo Cloud Forest.
Look for a wide range of birds, including various hummingbird species, the Scarlet-breasted Fruiteater, and the Golden-naped Tanager.

Day 5: Mindo – Antisana Ecological Reserve

Day 6: Antisana – Papallacta

Day 7: Papallacta – Quito
Final birdwatching session in Papallacta before returning to Quito.
