Arrive at Quito’s Mariscal Sucre International Airport. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Ecuadorian cuisine.
Day 2: Quito – City Tour and Middle of the World
Discover Quito’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with visits to Plaza Grande, La Compañía de Jesús, and the San Francisco Church.
Head to the Mitad del Mundo monument to stand on the equator and explore its fascinating cultural and scientific exhibits.
Day 3: Otavalo Market – Cotacachi – Quito
Journey to the world-famous Otavalo Market (approx. 2 hours), known for its colorful textiles and handmade crafts. Engage with artisans to learn about their techniques.
Visit Cotacachi, a town renowned for leather goods, and explore workshops showcasing traditional craftsmanship. Return to Quito for the evening.
Day 4: Quito – Cotopaxi Volcano – Riobamba
Depart early for Cotopaxi National Park. Explore the park’s breathtaking landscapes, take a short hike to Limpiopungo Lagoon, and enjoy views of the Cotopaxi volcano. Continue south to Riobamba (approx. 2 hours) and spend the night in this charming Andean city.
Day 5: Riobamba – Pintishi – Ingapirca Ruins
