Check in to your hotel in Puerto Ayora and relax for the evening.
Day 2: Bay Tour & Tortuga Bay Exploration
Embark on a Bay Tour in Santa Cruz, snorkeling with sea lions at La Lobería and spotting sea birds at Punta Estrada. Visit the Shark Channel, Dog Beach, and swim at the breathtaking Las Grietas. After lunch, relax at Tortuga Bay Beach, home to marine iguanas, sea turtles, and black turtle nesting areas, or kayak in calm waters. Return to your Puerto Ayora hotel for the night.
Day 3: Isabela Island Adventure & Tintoreras Exploration
Depart from Santa Cruz to Isabela Island by boat. Visit Las Tintoreras, a nearby islet where you’ll encounter white-tip reef sharks, blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, sea lions, and sea turtles. Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by vibrant marine life.
Tour the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center, home to two subspecies of giant tortoises and a vital part of Galápagos conservation efforts. Stop by the serene Flamingos Lagoon to observe these elegant birds in their natural habitat.
Day 4: Sierra Negra & Chico Volcano
At 7:30 a.m., your adventure begins with a 45-minute drive to the Galápagos National Park control site to register for the visit. You’ll then hike to Sierra Negra, the oldest volcano on Isabela Island, where you’ll explore its vast, shallower caldera, revealing the age of this geological wonder. The journey continues to Chico Volcano, located to the northeast, where you’ll witness ongoing geological activity, with well-marked trails for both pedestrians and horses.
Day 5: Cabo Rosa Tunnels & Return to Santa Cruz
The tour begins at 08:00 with a transfer to the dock, followed by a boat ride to Roca Union, a small islet in the open sea, where you can spot pelicans, Nazca boobies, blue-footed boobies, and sea lions. Afterward, sail for 45 minutes to the Cabo Rosa tunnels, a stunning lava formation creating natural arches over the water.
Return to Puerto Ayora in the late afternoon and unwind at your hotel.
Day 6: Departure
